Introduce yourself:
My name is Angela and I am the Clinical Lead in the Manchester clinic.
Tell us about your background:
I am an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) by background and qualified in 1999. I am trained in working in all aspects of perioperative care.
How long have your worked for The Private Clinic?
I have worked at The Private Clinic for 3.5 years.
What does your role entail?
On a daily basis I am responsible for effectively caring for our patients, from their initial pre operative appointment, through to the post-operative phase and aftercare. I am often the first point of contact when patients have queries or fears and I work together with the rest of the team to ensure the patients journey is as safe as possible and that they have the best outcomes following their treatment with us.
I am also registered with the Care Quality Commission as the Registered Manager here in Manchester. This means I have a legal responsibility for maintaining standards and ensuring safe, and effective patient care within the clinic.
What do you enjoy about working for The Private Clinic?
