About Ms Sameena Hassan
Ms Sameena Hassan is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience. She has completed a prestigious Training Interface Group (TIG) fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in Norwich, a Paediatric Craniofacial fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital and a BAAPS Mentorship Aesthetic Fellowship at The Weymouth Hospital in London Harley Street.
Working as a Consultant in Paediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Ms Hassan specialises in a range of procedures and conditions including ear reconstruction, microtia, sarcoma, spinal and congenital breast reconstruction.
As a passionate advocate for training, Ms Hassan was awarded membership of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of Edinburgh having demonstrated her ability to train and educate future generations of surgeons. Ms Hassan was amongst the first group to receive the Oracle Cancer Trust Peter Rhys Evans Travelling Scholarship in 2023.
