FUE Hair Transplant – 014RR
32 year old male with early Norwood 2 pattern of loss, presented to us requesting a lower hairline. His initial consultation was in 2011 but we advised against a hair transplant at this stage and the client was advised to try conservative measures like Finasteride and Minoxidil as it was felt that a hair restoration procedure might not be cost-effective for what was deemed as minimal loss. However after using Finasteride diligently for 3 years he came back to us again requesting a lower hairline. Although he did not have a family history of loss and examination findings did not show any significant progressive miniaturisation, he was counselled extensively about the potential of future hair loss and the need for preventive measures and also further surgery. 867 grafts were transferred using the FUE Hair Transplant technique. The challenge of the Hair Transplant procedure was to make sure it improved his aesthetics, made the hairline lower like his request but so that it did not look unnatural.
