Laser breast lift UK
Sagging breasts are often a result of ageing, weight loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Unfortunately, once breasts start to sag, there is often not a lot that can be done to improve this other than breast surgery. Breast uplift surgery is a very effective procedure that helps to remove excess loose or sagging skin from the breast resulting in tighter firmer and perkier breasts.
Is there a non-surgical breast lift?
We appreciate that going ahead with surgery is a big decision and many people are seeking non-surgical or more minimally invasive options to help them achieve the results that they desire.
Procedures that involve no scarring, no incisions, no requirement to go under anaesthetic or even visit a hospital are highly attractive. That along with no significant downtime means that finding time to have a procedure alongside busy work and life schedules is more advantageous.
Benefits of a non-surgical breast lift
Whilst non-surgical breast lift options do come with a lot of benefits, it is important to understand that it is unlikely that they can achieve results that are as long-lasting or effective as a surgical breast uplift / mastopexy procedure.
Does laser breast lift work? / Can you lift breasts with a laser?
Many of the issues that cause sagging breasts can’t be resolved with a non-surgical breast lift such as a laser breast lift. The main thing that a laser breast lift non-surgical treatment is realistically able to achieve is to tighten mildly lax skin which at that stage, many patients would not be considering a surgical breast lift anyway.
Why we do not offer non-surgical breast lifts
At our clinics, we believe the best way to achieve good results from a breast lift is to undergo breast uplift surgery.
We do provide a range of non-surgical treatment options for many aesthetic concerns and we would always aim to try and provide the least invasive treatment option for our patients. But we also pride ourselves on giving patients the best results and in some cases, surgery is the only way that we can ensure this.

What non-surgical breast lift options are available?
We do not offer any non-surgical breast lift treatments at our clinics.
There are a range of treatments that you may find online that claim to be natural and non-surgical options for breast lift.
- Laser Breast Lifting – Typically laser breast lifts use Nd:YAG and erbium YAG to non-invasively lift and tighten the skin around the breast tissue. Whilst the increase in collagen production can slightly increase skin elasticity in your chest area, any lifting results would be at best minor and temporary with continuous top-up treatment being required to maintain any results.
- BreastTite – Uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin to lift and tighten the skin. Results are very subtle and unlikely to have any significant effect on breast sagging that’s commonly seen following pregnancy, breastfeeding, major weight loss, or the ageing process.
- Vampire Breast Lift – Uses patient’s own plasma to improve the appearance of sagging breasts. However, this is a temporary procedure which would require regular maintenance treatments to maintain any results that are achieved. So, whilst it may be cheaper initially, the cost of regular treatments potentially every 3-6 months will soon add up.
- Thread lifts for Breasts – Commonly used for lifting of the face and neck, these treatments are now being used on the breasts but are not able to achieve results as good as breast lift surgery and could cause dimpling, pain, and extrusions. [https://www.realself.com/news/breast-thread-lift]
- Wrinkle Relaxing Injections for Breast Lift – Anti wrinkle injections have been used for many years to reduce lines and wrinkles from the face by relaxing facial muscles. Providers offering this claim to create a subtle lifting effect by relaxing the pectoral muscles, so that the shoulders aren’t pulled forward. This is an off-label use of the product, and a very high volume would need to be used which is not advised. Wrinkle relaxing injections do not firm or tighten skin.
- Topical creams for breast lift – There is no topical cream or natural remedy that has any proven basis for effective breast lifting. These products can be expensive and are best avoided.
- Breast massage for breast uplift – We often recommend massaging of the breast following breast surgery to help improve results. Whilst it can help in those instances, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that a massage can help to naturally lift the breast.
As you can see from above, there are an assortment of treatments that claim to reduce the appearance of sagging or drooping breasts. There are no reports of proven long-term effectiveness and we would recommend avoiding these treatments.
Does laser skin tightening work on breasts?
We would advise against any of the non-surgical breast lift treatments mentioned above.
Laser skin tightening can be an effective treatment for the face and décolletage however the same results have not been proven for the breasts.
What are the side effects of laser breast lift?
Laser breast lift treatments tend to have the typical side effects associated with other similar laser facial procedures. These include redness, swelling, sensitivity and dry skin. Patients will also need to avoid sun exposure to the areas treated.
We understand that many women may choose a laser breast lift or non-surgical breast lift to avoid the scarring that comes with breast uplift surgery.
Our expert consultant plastic surgeons have performed countless breast uplift procedures, they are experts in ensuring that scars are kept to the minimum and with their expert scar care advice post-procedure, they will work with you to help give you the best result.
Summary
We are very aware of the non-surgical breast lift treatments on offer. Whilst they do boast a great list of benefits, there is little evidence to show that the results are as great as or as long lasting as those that you may achieve with breast uplift surgery.
