Mel Recchia wins Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year 2023
We are delighted to announce that Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber Mel Recchia was awarded Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year 2023 at the Aesthetic Awards this weekend.
About Mel Recchia
Mel Recchia has been a registered nurse (RN) for 24 years and has over 16 years of experience. She is well-known within the aesthetic industry and a dedicated and involved member of the Aesthetic community.
Her high level of skill and professionalism has meant that she has held many notable roles including being a member of the Allergan UK faculty team and is currently a regional expert for Teoxane all whilst working towards an MSc in cosmetic medicine.

What are the Aesthetic Awards?
The Aesthetic Awards are an awards ceremony for UK medical aesthetics. The awards celebrate the best of aesthetic medicine, practitioners, professionals, product manufacturers, surgical treatments, non-surgical treatments, practice management and industry innovation.
The awards are often known as the equivalent of the Oscars for the aesthetic industry. The awards ceremony was held at the glamorous Grosvenor House in central London.
The awards entry process is very comprehensive with all entrees being required to answer a set of questions before they are in with a chance of becoming a finalist. A panel of more than 80 expert judges are then appointed to score the finalist entry forms to establish a winner.
