Recent stats show a huge increase in male ‘moob’ reduction procedures

This week The Private Clinic featured in the Mail Online having released statistics that show that the number of men opting to get rid of their so-called man boobs, has grown by a huge 38% in the last year.
Excessive development of male breasts – also known as gynaecomastia, man boobs or ‘moobs’ – is thought to affect 40% of men and it seems the proportion is quickly rising.
In what is being dubbed the ‘Olympic’ effect, it’s thought that the buff bodies on display this summer during the 2012 games, may have prompted men to get rid of their moobs and as a result many are becoming more aware of the cosmetic procedures available to them.
