What is a CoolSculpting Cycle?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical treatment for fat reduction that can effectively target troublesome areas of fat to help you achieve a more sculpted silhouette.
How does CoolSculpting work?
CoolSculpting also known as Cryolipolysis is the only FDA cleared non-surgical fat reduction treatment. It uses controlled cooling which is applied to areas of the body which effectively freezes the fat cells in the specified area without causing harm to the skin or other tissues.
The CoolSculpting technology has been proven to reduce up to 27% of fat cells in one treatment application, further sessions can see results increase by up to 78%.
What is a CoolSculpting cycle?
CoolSculpting terminology can be confusing as they will vary from clinic to clinic. A CoolSculpting Cycle represents one application or placement of the CoolSculpting applicator on the body.
As an example, if you were looking to treat your arms. This would be a minimum of two treatment cycles as two applicators would need to be used to treat both arms.
What is a CoolSculpting area?
When we talk about CoolSculpting treatment areas, we state a body region that could be suitable for treatment. Within one body area such as the abdomen, there are multiple areas including upper abdomen, mid abdomen and lower abdomen. This means that one body area, does not necessarily mean one treatment cycle.
How many CoolSculpting cycles will I need?
The number of CoolSculpting cycles that you require will depend on the area being treated, the applicator head used and your desired result.
