What’s involved? Fat is removed from buttocks or thighs, much as it is in liposuction – although the procedure is much less invasive as the surgeon only needs a small amount of fat. The fat is then injected where it’s needed in the face. The whole thing takes 2-3hrs and is performed under local anaesthetic, so you’re awake throughout.
