About Mr Maisam Fazel
Mr Maisam Fazel is an accomplished Consultant Oncoplastic, Breast Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon who specialises in a wide range of aesthetic procedures, but has a unique background in breast surgery and gynecomastia surgery.
Maisam studied medicine at Cambridge University and was awarded the University Prize in Surgery. He then undertook training overseas. After returning to the UK, he trained at many top teaching hospitals including the prestigious Nottingham Breast & Plastic Surgery Unit. He went on to finish various cosmetic surgery fellowships in the UK and the United States, including the coveted Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Fellowship. Working alongside some of the finest plastic surgeons in the UK and internationally, he gained significant experience in a wide range of cosmetic operations.
Mr Fazel has authored numerous papers in his area, including those on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is also actively involved in breast reconstruction research and has taught at the Royal College of Surgeons. He is routinely asked as a ‘Key Opinion Leader’ to present at international cosmetic surgery conferences.
Mr Fazel aims to identify each patient’s unique aesthetic goals while providing them with an honest, detailed consultation during which his patients can rely on his vast experience.
Mr Fazel is an award-winning surgeon, awarded the Best National Onco Plastic Breast & Cosmetic Surgery Specialist in the 2019 Private Healthcare Awards.
